YOUR RESPONSES TO EASTER SATURDAY'S WOMEN ON FIRE
This was a life-changing event for me. Your calling to awaken the fire in women impacted me deeply. Phenomenal women on stage. I have been searching for a bigger word than thank you.
Thank you so much for a wonderful event. Very empowering with huge rippling effects and it continues to grow.
Oh my goodness, what an amazing day! We were truly blown away by the strength, beauty and solidarity of the women that stood before us. They demonstrated kindness, compassion, gratitude, love and grace in the face of fear, despair and destruction. Turning life into love with their feminine energy and persistence. A heartfelt 'Thank You' for one of the most inspiring days of my life on Saturday. Just awesome! I hope the tweeting from the back has spread the messages worldwide. Certainly there were people following and retweeting from all over the world. It was a privilege to be part of such a fabulous occasion and I look forward to working with you, moving forward, to convey your messages to as may people as possible.
It was a truly uplifting event, and wonderful to be surrounded by so many like-minded women.

It was fantastic! Thank you so much.
Thank you for such an inspirational and rich day. Women on Fire was all that I anticipated and soooo much more. The next day I opened up the first page and saw Hafsat Abiola-Costello's picture and began to cry. I am still thinking about how powerful the day was and how lucky I am to have been there to hear so many amazing women speak. Thank you. Emma Spiegler

I've never heard so many heart led lives tell of themselves in one place at one time, and the effect will live on and inform mine I'm sure.

"Thank you for the most wonderful day. The speakers were amazing, it was organised so well, and I have returned home tired but awe-struck at the power we women have if we but use it - I knew that already but just had to have it confirmed one more time!" Heather Hamer

Well done. So much magic - and practical magic - on so many levels! Congratulations.
Thanks, I had a great time. Felt very included and inspired.
An extraordinary day. Made me feel it would be an honour to be a woman.
All my life I've danced to someone else's tune. I've been someone's daughter, someone's girlfriend, someone's secretary, someone's wife, someone's mother, so many labels. I even became labelled a man-hater, having joined the Women's Liberation Movement in the 70s and thought women's time had come then. And so much happened as a result of that movement, some of it positive, a lot of it negative - many women ended up trying to be everything to everyone - The Woman Who Had It All collapsed in a heap of exhaustion.
Now I feel a new energy forming, within myself and within so many other women all over the world that this consciousness cannot be ignored.
I myself am now 58, and I'm finally coming to believe in The Real Me.
I'm so excited about the Women on Fire project and look forward to sharing the day with everyone. Heather
WOW!!! The letter to women was so powerful energetically, I started to tear up with joy as I read the first few lines.
The 'about wof' info is all really good. I read the new info - now for that I would buy the £55 ticket!
I worked on the exercise to raise the fire into my pelvis, it was really strong and my whole lower back was on fire inside and out and it went up my spine to the base of my skull. It was amazing, I felt so energized and I released the fire back to the earth and my back is still really hot. Katy NV
From Rose Flint:
The fire is stiring in the Earth in all of us! I feel a sudden boost of optimism -women are talking to each other - and its being recorded in newspapers /tv /radio - at last we are seeing women brave enough to stand up and shout - we are not a minority!
THIS TIME, WE MAKE THE FIRE OF LOVE
All around the wary town the gathered women
carry fire. It's in their pockets
and their little satin bags, small sparks innocent
as petals leaving spangles on the grass.
Some have rucksacks full of slithery flames that escape
in snaky tendrils down their backs, some
wear fiery sun-circles on their hands
rubies, garnets glint like darts.
The women carry fire in their bodies in red wombs
and red rivers, in young muscles full of kundalini grace,
in soft wrinkled skins brimmed with burning water;
and a hundred scarlet fireheaded women
set little bonfires bobbing in the street
so the town quivers at the dangers of ignition.
And these fiery loving women walk around astonishing
the tourists, the pilgrims and the town wives:
Of course, they say, of course we carry fire,
we have always done so: fire of Inanna, fire of Diana
fire of Bride, we are all sacred fireholders -
Hey lady - slip inside yourself and see.
I love Women on Fire and see the site has totally evolved since I last checked in. I have joined and will love spreading the word and being part of the community - it resonates very strongly with me ... a very important and authentic initiative. Melissa Saayman Krige
Re Letter to Men:
"It's got the power hasn't it. Full of electricity, relaxed, conversational, non threatening advocacy of big points but writ casual. I read most of it as it's an easy read but a 'strong' one. Body now humming'"
